Water availability
There are two major streams flowing from east to west, and another stream that initially flows towards the east-south and later changes its course towards the west. The total quantity of water flowing through these three streams is approximately 24,000 cubic metres. Parts of the Neyyar Reservoir and 7 ponds are the other water resources in this area. In addition to these, the Karippayar, Valliyar, Mullayar, and Kallar rivers also flow through this Panchayat and merge into the Neyyar River.
